The Tema Zonal Missionary, Maulvi Bilal Ahmad Qamar has advised Ahmadi Muslims to avoid sin as one avoids blood-thirsty beasts during the ongoing 88th Annual National convention of Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission at Pomadze in the Central Region of Ghana.
Speaking on “Distinguishing Features of An Ahmadi Muslim’’ after Tahajjud (optional dawn prayers), he said Ahmadis should have an in-depth understanding of virtue and piety and practice it. He warned Ahmadi Muslims not to be carried away by passions through television and internet. Ahmadi Muslims should not in any way cause harm to God’s creatures, he said, adding that Ahmadi Muslims are expected to exhibit the habit of praising and glorifying God.
He admonished Ahmadi Muslims to live exemplary lives as the Holy prophet Mohammed (saw) was an excellent exampler in his worship of Allah. The Holy prophet Mohammed (saw) established high examples in honouring the rights and obligations that man owes to Allah and the rights that are due to other human beings, he added.
‘’Verily you have in the Prophet of Allah an excellent model, for him who fears Allah and the Last Day and who remembers Allah much.’’ Maulvi Qamar quoted from the Holy Quran chapter 33 verse 22.
Maulvi Qamar urged Ahmadi Muslims to stay away from falsehood and fornication and said it is always good for Ahmadis to stay from any action or thought which could trigger falsehood and fornication.
